Washburn Maverick Series model BT-2 guitar with quilted maple top and vintage sunburst finish

...Forward is a 4-wire Seymour Duncan Distortion neck pickup ( aka The Seymourizer !!) and at the bridge is a hot 4-wire pup by the G & B Pick Up Company which I pulled from a Rock Candy Custom model of the Daisy Rock guitar family.  I upgraded the tone knob with a push-pull coil tap model wired to split both humbuckers, which are wired out of phase.  While this axe is a true multi-tonal monster of Cloverdale proportions, I must admit that my favorite pickup setting is the bridge humbucker in split mode, possibly because I wired the coil tap switch to turn off the outer (lower) coil, leaving the inner single coil on.  I've been told that this small extra distance from the bridge can have a large effect on the tone.
