Programmed by the ISI

An original poem by Chrome Dome Mike Kimbro

Consider reading along to my Spoken Verse Performance.

VERSE 1

Talking heads and blowhards,

Treat the other's like they're retards.

Hoping that the Russians are an ally.

CHORUS

But be careful what you believe,

If the programming they receive,

Comes courtesy of the ISI.

VERSE 2

Quick with a Ronald Reagan quote,

Backing up six percent growth,

While inflation receives a blind eye.

CHORUS

But be careful what you believe,

If the programming they receive,

Comes courtesy of the ISI.

VERSE 3

Being Trump's policy porters,

(Meaning Trumpcare and wall supporters),

They don't see Manafort as a spy.

CHORUS

But be careful what you believe,

If the programming they receive,

Comes courtesy of the ISI.

VERSE 4

Those Heritage Foundation disciples,

See [William F.]  Buckley, Jr. as archetypal.

His message they proudly amplify.

CHORUS

But be careful what you believe,

If the programming they receive,

Comes courtesy of the ISI.

VERSE 5

They don't have any questions,

For nominees like Jeff Sessions.

Who might get it right on the 2nd try.

CHORUS

But be careful what you believe,

If the programming they receive,

Comes courtesy of the ISI.

VERSE 6

So to the top student leaders,

Who are Bill O'Reilly readers,

Look for "Killing Kimbro" in July.

CHORUS

But be careful what you believe,

If the programming they receive,

Comes courtesy of the ISI.
