404-U2ABORT [Part 3 of my Abortion Trilogy]
An original poem by Chrome Dome Mike Kimbro
Consider reading along to my Spoken Verse Performance.
VERSE 1
In 404, the female Chief of Police,
Was certainly far from subliminal.
Announcing that convicts have been released,
Just to make room,
For a whole new class of criminal.
VERSE 2
The chief set up an abortion taskforce.
So that fetuses would be protected.
The mayor didn't hesitate to endorse.
And why would he,
When the plan might help him get re-elected.
CHORUS
Dial 404-U2ABORT
If your lover said goodbye.
Dial 404-U2ABORT
Officers are standing by.
Did I say officers?
That's my bad.
I meant operators.
So when you're sad,
About an unwanted pregnancy.
That happens to be our specialty,
Here at 404-U2ABORT.
BRIDGE
It's a sting which offers females,
A way to resolve their predicament.
But other offenders could be the males.
Who shouldn't be treated any different.
And if either share their plans, one day,
With a counselor or psychologist.
Who fail to rat them out, right away,
Police can add conspiracy to the list.
Judges should consider, when setting bail,
That the crime and amount be in proportion.
And they better begin building bigger jails,
Since one in four gals have had an abortion.
VERSE 3
Those who work with abortion seekers know,
Agitation is something they are prone to.
Cops are told to let thieves and tweakers go,
And make like Starsky and Hutch,
When pregnant perps pick up the phone to...
CHORUS
Dial 404-U2ABORT
If your lover said goodbye.
Dial 404-U2ABORT
Officers are standing by.
Did I say officers?
That's my bad.
I meant operators.
So when you're sad,
About an unwanted pregnancy.
That happens to be our specialty.
And don't worry about the penalty.
Call us at 404-U2ABORT.
The End
