Born To Be Bald             [Part 1 of my Male Topics Trilogy]

Original poetry by Chrome Dome Mike Kimbro

Consider reading along to my Spoken Verse Performance.

VERSE 1

There is a condition so glorious,

Enjoyed by mammals who have evolved.

Which favors the result: Victorious!

Maybe it's time you got involved.

VERSE 2

Resist the power of peer pressure,

Come to know that it's cool being odd.

If soaking up worship is your pleasure,

Grab some trimmers and join the A-Squad.

CHORUS

From the womb,

I came,

Wholly devoid of locks.

In my tomb,

The same.

A Que-Ball laid out in a box.

While others despair,

When they find a loose hair.

We lucky few, don't give a care,

Cause we were born, born, born, born, born,

Born to be bald.

VERSE 3

With razor in hand, each morning I express,

A fervour which tests my sanity.

So don't assume that baldies possess,

All that much less, in terms of vanity.

CHORUS

From the womb,

I came,

Wholly devoid of locks.

In my tomb,

The same.

A Que-Ball laid out in a box.

While others despair,

When they find a loose hair.

We lucky few, don't give a care,

Cause we were born, born, born, born, born,

Born to be bald.

The End
