Gross Point Mona Lisa

Original poetry by Chrome Dome Mike Kimbro

Consider reading along to my Spoken Verse Performance.

VERSE 1

I'm a fan of the genre: Garage

Those bands make me tap my toes.

My other passion is back massage,

I can hold my own, as far as that goes.

VERSE 2

A great big supersonic plane,

Takes me to a suburb of Detroit.

My mission there is to ease the pain,

Of the Mona Lisa of Gross Point.

CHORUS

I'm not saying that I yearn to hold her.

Just rub the neck and knead the shoulders.

Of one of rock n roll's finest divas.

Yeah, the Gross Point Mona Lisa.

VERSE 3

A strong back with long lean arms,

That's my favorite torso type.

That may be why I fell for the charms,

Of Meg, drummer for The White Stripes.

CHORUS

I'm not saying that I yearn to hold her.

Just rub the neck and knead the shoulders.

Of one of rock n roll's finest divas.

Yeah, the Gross Point Mona Lisa.

The End
